Meghan Fox and Lydia Selvek, both senior Art Education majors at UNCG, were featured presenters at the UNCG Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creativity Expo 2025, held on April 10. Meghan presented her research titled “Community-Based Art Education: Exploring Students’ Sense of Belonging,” while Lydia shared her project, “The Potential of Socially Engaged Art in Title 1 Schools.” Both presentations emerged from their work in ARE 368: Research in Contemporary Issues in Art Education, under the mentorship of faculty adviser Dr. Maria Lim (Professor of Art Education).
